In a continued effort to find top talent, Fcode Labs held its second assessment center for intern selection from the University of Colombo - School of Computing (UCSC). Following the initial interview process, around 15 students participated in the event, which took place from 10 am to 4 pm.

The students were divided into groups, with each group containing individuals who would typically work on a software project, including software engineers (SE), quality assurance (QA), and business analysts (BA). Each group was given specific tasks, tailored to test their ability to generate ideas, work as a team, and apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges.

The tasks were designed to evaluate the students' practical skills, communication, and how well they connected with their peers. By the end of the day, each group received feedback from the leads, offering insights into their performance. This approach also allowed the panel to assess the candidates' personalities and soft skills, ensuring a more holistic selection process.

With plans to continue and improve this method, Fcode Labs is committed to identifying well-rounded candidates who will thrive in both technical and collaborative environments.
